E3 Preview

nDreams finest, Patrick O'Luanaigh and Chris Nuttall, bring a quick E3 preview from Los Angeles the day before E3 begins:

After setting up our booth and eating overly large portions of food, we had the time to wander around the show as it was being set up. It was hard to miss Batman: Arkham Asylum on the Warner Brothers and Eidos stands; certainly it will be one of the most prominent games at the show this year. We were amazed at the size of the MTV Games, Disney and Square Enix stands - all three were amongst the biggest there and look like they are going to have some great content this week. The MTV Games stand includes a replica exterior of Abbey Road studios (complete with zebra crossing) to promote the Beatles: Rock Band game.

Chris is really looking forward to seeing Project Natal which Microsoft announced a few hours ago. We're both also looking forward to seeing Avatar by Ubisoft (the 3D stereoscopic game that ties in with the new James Cameron movie).

Biggest game of the show is likely to be Modern Warfare 2 - it's getting lots of press over here already...

Sony's press conference is tomorrow (Tuesday) which should be exciting. We're hoping Xi might get a mention within any Home news along with a new space we've been working on.

The show certainly seems to be almost back to its former glory - both the South and West Halls are packed. Should be a great week. We'll post again at the end of the week with our post E3 thoughts.
